Hope everyone is having a great and productive summer. 3 more weeks to go before we hit the books and classrooms and get back into the groove of teaching our wonderful students. Well enjoy the last three weeks of vacation and maybe i will see some of you at the school before we start. Just to let everyone know I am in the process of starting a new blog of my own located at:
this is still a work in process and will always be changing. This is mostly for my classroom and it is intended to give the students in my class necessary information they need to know for our class. Check it out. Suggestions are welcome. As i said it is still a work in progress so bare with me. I have been working on it in my spare time this summer but now i will really start cracking down on it.
Talk to you all soon.

Hi Mr. Stegman,
My son Max is going into 2nd grade at PS 130 and I”m not sure what grade you teach but I think it’s great that you posted something welcoming everyone back to school and love the idea of your blog.
Can the administration post some information regarding the first week of school? I’d love to know if the University Settlement afterschool program is in effect that first week or when it does begin.
Thanks again for your note.
Regards,
Robbi Siegel
Hi there Mrs. Siegel,
I know Max from 1st grade when I went into classes to assist. I am now teaching 4th and 5th grade special Ed class in PS 130. In regards to university settlement they are coming back and I believe it begins the 2nd or 3rd week of school. Thank you for the compliments on my class website. It’s all for the students so they become more tech savvy.
Enjoy the rest of your summer and see you soon. Hope I answered your questions.
I am looking forward to starting a new year!
