Thank you from PS 130 PTA

28 Jun

The 2009/2010 PS 130 PTA Executive Board would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for another successful school year! We had a great time bringing you many fun events and fundraisers and we hope your children enjoyed themselves.

Sponsoring events, meetings, and fundraisers involves a lot of hard work and planning and we always need the help of our parent volunteers. Our sincere gratitude goes out to each and every one of you who attended our meetings, helped out during sales, decorated for events, served food at dances, donated supplies, ran errands, and for all the other ways you have offered your time, energy, and ideas.

The PTA would also like to thank Ms. Nunziata for all of her ongoing support and guidance, Ms. Ilardi for her endless enthusiasm and encouragement, and Ms. Hardy for her tireless collaboration. And, of course, we thank all of the teachers, administrative staff, and school aides who worked with us continuously during the school year.

We will be working over the Summer months on developing some interesting new programs for the 2010/2011 school year and we look forward to your continued support. Together we can make a difference.

Have a happy and safe summer everyone!

Warmly,
Kitty Martin, PTA President
Nicole Hamburger, Vice President
Liz Longo, Treasurer
Suzanne O’Donnell, Secretary

It’s not too late to be a part of this Saturday’s Brooklyn PTA 5K Run/Walk for Schools! This fundraiser is a great way for us to all come together to take action in support of  local public schools (and it’s good for your health, too!). Teachers, students, parents, siblings, friends, family….all are welcome!

Participants pay a registration fee ($15/person, or $25/family….even the smallest participants count!) and can also raise money through sponsorships.  The proceeds are split among the participating schools.

You can register online in advance or you can register Saturday morning on-site…registration forms  are available at the Brooklyn PTA website .

Please email Suzanne if you would like to participate. sod@nyc.rr.com.

Hope to see you in Prospect Park on Saturday!
