Try ’em out!

Hey there, colleagues!  Just listing a few websites to check out for use within the classroom with students as well as for yourself to help with the day-to-day tasks we all have. Try them out, paly around a little on whichever site[s] you choose and let others know via this blog what you thought and how you’d use any of it.  Happy (tech) hunting!

  • Design book covers for lots of uses
  • Create story maps for writing narratives
  • Fun ways to create variable length story boards online
  • This website from the NCTE is a fab resource for getting students using computer in ways that integrate with the curriculum seamlessly.
  • For your own use, try out Educationworld (click on the More Resources button on the lower left to get to the tools and templates page)
  • or even the DOE (Yep!) especially for translated documents.
