Second Annual PS130 Fall Fest held on Saturday October 20, 2012 was a huge success!
On a gorgeous Fall day, the community gathered in the newly improved schoolyard to enjoy all kinds of Fall fun. The front lawn was transformed into a pumpkin patch where children could select just the right pumpkin and then decorate it!
Many volunteers worked tirelessly to help set up, paint faces, assist with crafts, sell food, donate baked goods, do henna tattoos, run games, DJ, entertain, and MORE! The energy of this team of volunteers was amazing!
Many families from PS130 were enjoying the festivities. There was also a flood of people from the neighborhood who came by to check out the school. There were so many smiling faces! Thank you to the PS130 PTA and ALL of the volunteers who worked so hard to make this a wonderful day. Thank you to each person who came out to support the event.
