Yoga is well underway at the lower school! We love using our new mats to learn about stretching and stregthening our bodies while we go on adventures!
Kindergarten, first and second graders are learning how to use breathing as a way to push further when holding poses as well as concentrating on one tiny spot to stay balanced.
Yoga is a fun way to:
- Build concentration.
- Increase their confidence and positive self-image.
- Feel part of a healthy, non-competitive group.
- Learn a new way to be active
