Mindfulness Techniques for Stressed Out Parents

Please join us on Thursday, February 28th at 8:45am at the upper school.  The topic of discussion will be “Mindfulness Techniques for Stressed Out Parents”. This workshop will be presented by Jessica Phillips Lorenz.
Many parents find themselves in triggering and stressful situations with the young people they care for.  The goal of this workshop is to offer portable, in-the-moment strategies as well as deeper mindfulness techniques to aide parents.  Using breathing activities, playful brain-games, and a mindful exploration of the five senses, participants will leave some new tricks up their sleeves and (hopefully) less stress in their bodies!
