Onsite at PS 130

University Settlement

Free after school program.  Admission is by lottery held in the fall for incoming Kindergarteners; interested upper grade students are admitted from a wait list.
Available to Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades.

Starting Dates
Grades 1 – 5: Monday, September 11, 2017
Kindergarten: Monday September 18, 2017

Wingspan Arts

Varied classes in visual arts, music, movement, LEGOs and more.
Available to grades Pre-K through 5th grades.

Onsite at PS130 Lower & Upper Schools (2nd graders are walked over to the Upper School).

Monday through Friday:  Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 1st Grade
Mondays and Thursdays: 2nd Grade


Camp Olympia

Sports program with some homework help time.
Available to 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades (2nd graders are walked over to the Upper School).

Onsite at PS130 Upper School.

Brooklyn Children’s Theatre

Musical Theatre classes leading to a fully-produced performance of an original musical.
Available to 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades via lottery.  At PS 130 Lower School Auditorium.

Kings Bay Y at Windsor Terrace

Recreation, homework help, and monthly enrichment activities.
Available to Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades.  Based at Prospect Avenue location.

Brooklyn Game Lab

Kids learn and play modern board and card games.  No video games!  And not just play.  they become game designers – analyzing mechanics, discussing strategies and play testing their own creations, adding new original elements to the games!

Ages 7+

Pick up for PS 130 students at the Lower School on Thursdays and are open to picking up other days and/or from Upper School if there is sufficient interest. Starting this September Brooklyn Game Lab will be picking up every weekday at PS130.
