P.S. 130 Equity and Inclusion Committee’s Mission is to:
Ensure that all of students and families feel safe and supported in the school community with all the resources they need to thrive.
As a school and as a committee, we are accountable to the most vulnerable of our community and when they are not able to thrive or do not feel safe or supported, then the E&I committee must work in partnership with the SLT, School Leadership, and PTA to take action.

E&I Updates
The Parkside School is working to update our online story to find out, and share, what our tagline “Growing Together” means to the different members of our community.
Guided by our administrators and teachers, students are leading this action by interpreting what makes up their school culture through mindful media making projects, like this student-directed documentary clip, made as a collaboration between our Youth Equity Congress and our media literacy partner, The Media Spot.
