Earth Day is April 22
5th Grade Environmental Poetry Remix:
The lion is fierce just the way I like it
The future of the animals is dying faster and faster
The death of the future
Global warming is coming and mother nature is counting on us to stop it!
The darkness of the ice is the one who polutes it !!!!!
In the spirit of Earth Day (tomorrow), 5th Graders created list poems on the theme of “Environmentalism” using this website. Each student posted at least one original line of poetry inspired by environmentalism, then posted it as a “comment” under their class list poetry post.
Once the list grew, students then copied and pasted their favorite lines from the list and into “REMIXED” poems demonstrating the opportunities that the Internet provides to collaborate, borrow and build on other’s work, and create unique voices!
Try the “Tag” “poetry” to see all student poetry on this site, or see a list of all our students’ publications in the Student Work Category.
